This interactive map displays two locations of people found in our case files. Many of our case files can be found at Ellis Island, New York, San Francisco, California, and Norfolk, Virginia. The blue dots indicate the last port of entry, while the red dots indicate possible deportation center or any other government building(s) that held these people while they were detained. All the dots seen on this map depict the city and state mentioned on the file and not their specific last location.
