Welcome to our digital research project! This semester, HIST 449 is looking at the history of American immigration policies during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. We will be discussing the current historiography on American immigration and conducting research at the National Archives in Washington, D.C. Students will post in depth analyses of primary sources on our class blog. At the end of the semester, they will publish their final research projects.
